01 INTRODUCTION AND STRATEGIC CONSULTING

Our initial meeting is to introduce ourselves and develop a clear understanding of what the project will require. The team at DRYDEN CRUTE DESIGN understands how important it is for clients to create a lasting visual impact, and our strategic and creative experts are committed to solving the most complex design challenges. A "Design Diagnosis" is developed to base our fee proposal on.

02 DETAILED BRIEF AND SITE MEASURE

On site DRYDEN CRUTE DESIGN carries out a measure and we familiarise ourselves with the location. We deepen our understanding of the project and the specific details and the issues to be resolved. This step in the project is crucial to the ensuing work and allows us to create a fully resolved design outcome. With additional clarity we review priorities, time frames and scope.

03 CONCEPT DESIGN

A Concept Proposal is developed in response to the agreed brief. Spatial planning is outlined to ensure the ideal circulation and optimum use of the space. DRYDEN CRUTE DESIGN includes freehand sketches, preliminary material selections and other images to capture the mood and feel of the proposed design and ensure it is aligned with the clients intent.

04 DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

Once the concept direction is established, the design direction is further developed by DRYDEN CRUTE DESIGN. Construction details are resolved, joinery formatted, materials, lighting, fittings and fixtures are selected. Throughout this stage meetings are held with the client to obtain their feedback and approval. Documents are prepared for regulatory permits and if required are reviewed with relevant external resources such as engineers, sustainability consultants, architects, land surveyors, building surveyors and/or Town Planning, depending on the project scope.

05 DOCUMENTATION

DRYDEN CRUTE DESIGN creates a comprehensive package of construction drawings and details, specifications, finishes and lighting schedules are created. This is a labour intensive stage that ensures accurate pricing and quoting in the next stage.

06 TENDER OR QUOTING STAGE

DRYDEN CRUTE DESIGN meets with selected trades to discuss and brief the project and provide the documentation. We assist with their queries and understanding of the scope. Once the pricing tender is received, we analyse the response and provide a recommendation to the client.

07 CONSTRUCTION

During the construction stage the team at DRYDEN CRUTE DESIGN visit the site and clarify any design questions that relate to our documentation. We take part in site meetings and overview the execution of the project, ensuring high quality standards are maintained. We coordinate additional orders made on behalf of the client and any specific suppliers site visits.

08 LOOSE FURNITURE

We provide a service to select, obtain quotes, procure, and manage deliveries of loose furniture items for a project.

09 STYLING

DRYDEN CRUTE DESIGN also offer an additional service of providing the final touches on a project. Careful thought and consideration is given to the reuse of the clients existing elements and the purchase of new objects, artwork or signage. This final step enriches the overall design providing a cohesive rewarding design solution.
